In 2022, the "Run, Youth" event and the Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium Test Competition was held on time.
On the same day, the Lily Swimming Pool and Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium set up 8 swimming events including 50-meter, 100-meter freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke, and 9 track and field events including 100-meter, 110-meter hurdles, and 3,000-meter. More than 200 young athletes participated in the competition of track and field and swimming. 
The athletes are all  trying their best to perform better.
 In the track and field competition, with the sound of the starting gun, the athletes quickly started and rushed towards the finish line. The fierce competition on the field pushed the atmosphere of the entire field to a climax again and again.
Lin Haohao, a sophomore from Lanzhou No. 6 Middle School, who won the first place in the 3,000-meter race, said, "The luxurious venues and brand-new equipment here allow me to perform to the fullest. I didn't feel tired after running the 3,000-meter race. I will actively prepare for the Provincial Games and look forward to meeting Excellent athletes from all over the province compete on the same stage.”
