NOVOTRACK Provides High-Quality Sports Flooring for the 2025 Urban Athletics Street Tour – Chengdu Stop

On October 6, the 2025 Urban Athletics Street Tour – Chengdu Stop was successfully held at the outdoor plaza of Chengdu Global Center. Certified by the Chinese Athletic Association, this innovative sports–culture–tourism integrated event was themed “Linking China Red · Athletics Shining in Rong City.” The competition brought the public a vibrant National Day celebration combining athletic performance, cultural showcases, and trendy urban experiences.

As the official running track supplier and installer of the sports flooring for this event, NOVOTRACK, backed by more than 20 years of professional manufacturing and construction experience, provided high-standard track surfacing solutions that ensured the smooth operation of the competition. Covering a total area of nearly 1,500 square meters, the project was completed by a team of ten skilled workers over the course of one week. To guarantee that the installation was finished with exceptional quality within a tight schedule, the factory director remained on-site throughout the entire process, offering real-time guidance and oversight to ensure optimal comfort and suitability for all participating athletes.

The track events zone featured a yellow–green alternating track design—used for the first time in a Chinese street athletics competition. Against the backdrop of a modern urban landscape, the vivid color contrast created a dynamic professional stage, enhancing both the visual appeal and the overall spectator experience.

The field events zone was primarily designed in calming green tones, offering athletes a stable psychological environment conducive to high-level performance. To ensure both comfort and compliance, all materials strictly met the surface-layer standards set by the Chinese Athletics Association, providing athletes with optimal footfeel and safety, and helping create the conditions needed for strong competitive results.

The activity (auxiliary) zone, located below the main competition area, served as a warm-up zone for athletes and a functional area for staff, media, and non-competing personnel, further improving the overall efficiency and flow of the event.

The successful organization of this competition not only showcased the vibrancy of Chengdu’s urban sports culture but also demonstrated NOVOTRACK’s expertise and commitment in the field of professional sports flooring.
