The competition was staged on a World Athletics Class A certified indoor track, with the track surface supplied and fully installed by Tianjin NovoTrack Rubber Products Co., Ltd., under its NovoTrack brand. Designed specifically for elite-level competition, the track system adopted competition-grade materials and professional installation standards to meet the technical requirements of top international events.
The Class A certification from World Athletics confirms that the venue meets the highest standards in terms of track performance, safety, and construction quality, providing athletes with stable, fair, and high-performance competition conditions. The consistent results and smooth execution of events throughout the championships further highlighted the importance of professional running track systems in supporting world-class competition.
Speaking on the significance of the event, Asian Athletics Association President Daran noted that indoor championships occupy a unique position in the annual athletics calendar. Compared with outdoor competitions, indoor events place greater emphasis on speed, control, tactics, and discipline, and often serve as a stage for emerging athletes to make breakthroughs. “Asian athletics is now moving forward with greater confidence,” he said.
Members of the Chinese coaching team also spoke highly of the competition venue. Coach Sun of the Chinese athletics team remarked that the facility ranks among the leading indoor athletics venues in China and compares favorably with top international indoor tracks.
As part of the event, Xie Biao, Chairman of Tianjin NovoTrack Rubber Products Co., Ltd., attended the championships as an award presenter, underscoring the company’s close engagement with the sport and its long-term commitment to supporting athletics development.
By delivering a World Athletics certified competition track for the championships, NovoTrack once again demonstrated how professional sports surface solutions can contribute directly to athletic performance and the sustainable growth of the sport. As Asian athletics continues to evolve, high-standard venues and reliable infrastructure are set to play an increasingly important role in shaping its future.
